Harry Potter and the Florida theme park
Muggles should really be barred, but even non-wizards will get to see the world of Harry Potter come to life at a Florida theme park.
Universal Studios in Orlando has sealed a deal to open The Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park in late 2009, complete with Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest.
Harry Potter author JK Rowling said: "The plans I've seen look incredibly exciting and I don't think fans of the books or films will be disappointed."
Oscar-winning production designer Stuart Craig, who has worked on all the Harry Potter films to date, will take charge of the design to make sure it remains faithful to the books and movies.
"Our primary goal is to make sure this experience is an authentic extension of Harry Potter's world as it is portrayed in the books and films," he said.
Although there will be no look-alikes or characters wandering around the park, fans have already been suggesting rides including flying on a magical hippogriff, a ghost house based on Azkaban prison and a Quidditch rollercoaster.
More than 325 million Harry Potter books have been sold in over 200 countries around the world and it has been translated into 65 languages.
The fifth movie in the accompanying film series will be released in cinemas on July 13th with the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows coming out just over a week later.
