Drew Barrymore signs deal with New Look
Following celebrity fashion lines from Kate Moss, Madonna and Lily Allen, now Charlie's Angels star Drew Barrymore has signed a deal to work with New Look.
She will become the face of designer Giles Deacon's Gold range for the high street retailer, but she will not be involved in the design process.
Drew reportedly met the designer, who was recently voted British Fashion Designer of the Year, while waiting for a lift and eventually agreed to model his new range.
"Drew is a real icon and more importantly a real woman who loves fashion but is not dictated to by it," said a spokesperson for New Look.
Mr Deacon, welcoming the announcement, said: "Despite her Hollywood associations she is ballsy, and has a playful 'child-woman' appeal."
The clothes, which features mini dresses, animal prints and oversized sunglasses, includes a dress called Shakira, which was probably inspired by the Colombian pop star.
