I'm A Celebrity - Gemma Atkinson gets the boot
29 November 2007 - Former Hollyoaks babe Gemma Atkinson last night became the 7th person to be voted out of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The 23 year-old Ultimo lingere model was ready to go, though, after getting the least public votes.
Upon hearing her name, the glamour model shrieked "Yes" and threw her arms into the air.
She later told hosts Ant and Dec: "I feel great. Thank you everyone for getting me out.
"Do you know what, I've had enough. When you're cold and hungry the whole time.
"I've got a craving for chocolate and I'm desperate to talk to my mum."
But she admitted she enjoyed her time in the Australian camp: "The whole thing's been great and I've enjoyed every minute of it. There's no stress, nothing... but you get used to it and you miss the hustle and bustle."
Gemma added some much needed glamour to the jungle but after 2 weeks without make-up, she reckons the nation's men will now realise she's not as hot as they thought.
Gemma also complained that her enhanced breasts sometimes got in the way: "I can't run with these puppies" she claimed during one of the shows.
Marc Bannerman-obsessed Catatonia singer Cerys Matthews got the 2nd lowest number of votes, and must surely be favourite for the chop tonight.
