Big Brother Celebrity Hijack - Can the real Liam Young please stand up

8 January 2008 - One of the new housemates has gone under the microscope this week after it was discovered he may not be all that he says he is.

Liam Young, whose profile claimed he was an entrepreneur and the managing director of a website design company, is now the subject of a blog dedicated to uncovering his real occupation.

The 19-year-old said his firm, OxyUK, turned over £200,000 and employs a staff of 12, but the investigative website - entitled Liam Young and OxyUK Truth - found that the company was not currently taking orders and is reportedly "closed for business".

It then goes on to cite an alleged listing on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB), which is an online bank of who's-who in the movie world.

Apparently, Liam is listed as having starred in the Jude Law film Alfie - although the blog said it could not find him in the movie and, as IMDB can be edited by anyone, it may not be completely true.

The "truth" website focused on finding Liam's real identity calls him "a modern-day Walter Mitty", who was a fictional character that dreamed up many elaborate and vivid versions of himself as a successful surgeon and pilot, among other occupations.
