Rivalry brews between Scarlett and Jessica

Hollywood actresses Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel are rivals both for on-screen parts and in their love lives.

Jessica recently complained to the Sun that she misses out on "gritty" film roles to fellow stars like Scarlett and Natalie Portman.

She said: "I don't want to say that there's nothing I love that I can't have. But there's still the occasional script that the director doesn't want to see you for. They want that top tier of girl."

But on top of this, Jessica, 25, is reportedly in a love triangle with Scarlett for the attentions of Blade: Trinity star Ryan Reynolds.

Ryan and Jessica were seen kissing in a Los Angeles restaurant earlier this year, but this week Scarlett was overheard telling her family of her affections for the 30-year-old actor and writer who she has reportedly been dating for a month.

An eyewitness told In Touch Weekly: "She said, 'He's a really great writer. He's totally shining in his writing group and his scripts are amazing'."

Scarlett, 22, was also previously linked to Jessica's current boyfriend Justin Timberlake, although she has since denied dating the pop star.
