Mel C happy Victoria's LA bound
Mel C has said she is glad her former Spice Girl band mate Victoria Beckham is heading to sunny California with her family as it is a great place to raise children.
She celebrated the couple's decision in a comment to Bang Showbiz, saying: "It's a really great place to live. There's lots to do and lots going on. And it's a great place to bring up kids."
Formerly best-known as Sporty Spice, Mel is dreaming of children herself and is determined to get pregnant sooner rather than later.
"I definitely want to be a mum and I'd like more than one child," she told the Metro. "At the moment my priority is my music, but I'm already 33, so I'd better get cracking!"
The pop star has seen two of the other former Spice Girls, Mel B and Emma Bunton, announce they were pregnant in recent months, which may be making her feel left out.
But it's not like she's short of options as, apart from builder boyfriend Thomas Starr, an internet group was set up in January on the social website Bebo calling on guys to donate their sperm to "the last Spice Girl to experience the joys of motherhood".
However, despite the kind offers from the group named Operation: Impregnate Mel C, she reportedly turned down the opportunity, saying: "I'm very happy as I am at the moment."
