Lily brands Posh and Coleen "horrendous"

Having cancelled much of the remainder of her American tour, it seems pop singer Lily Allen has found more time to let her feelings out.

Lily condemned fellow celebs Victoria Beckham and Wayne Rooney's fiance Coleen McLoughlin for obsessing over their looks, saying it was no longer "appealing".

In fact, the 21-year-old believes that her fellow youngsters are turning away from fawning over celebrities, especially those with "a different handbag to go with every outfit".

"People of my generation have become so sceptical about it," she said. "We've had it shoved in our faces and because of these reality TV shows we've seen how it all works behind the scenes."

Lily recently cut short her American tour, complaining of tiredness and saying that it was affecting her performances.

She will still be playing a few gigs and festivals in the States before coming back to Britain to feature at this year's V Festival and Glastonbury.
