Lucy Speed joins the cast tonight as DC Stevie Moss. The former EastEnders actress brings a breath of fresh air to CID with her positive and lively outlook - but still manages to upset Mickey by stealing his parking space.

Her first case involves Jem, a professional footballer who is forced to admit he is gay after someone runs over his lover in his car. Suspicion falls on his fiancee Michelle Rosen and her father Ernie.

Ernie confesses to the crime but is he telling the truth? Sally uncovers evidence to suggest he is covering for someone even closer to home.
