Countdown to Christmas Number 1 - Leon Jackson

19 December 2007 - X Factor winner Leon Jackson is the hot favourite to be Christmas Number 1 this Sunday with his single 'When You Believe'.

The Scottish star has to battle against last years X Factor winner Leona Lewis, Katie Melua and Eva Cassidy and Malcolm Middleton.

"I am still feeling shocked at becoming the winner but am slowly digesting it! I have been really busy doing a photo shoot for the press on top of Tower 42 a huge building in London – it was brilliant but freezing cold and so windy I ended up with champagne in my eyes and hardly able to see!

I have been busy doing a string of interviews – radio and TV like ITN and GMTV. I met Lorraine Kelly my fellow Scot! I also went in to meet everyone at my new record company to discuss the direction of the album – it was really exciting. I cant wait to start this new chapter of my life."
