13 September 2007 - West Country born singer songwriter Seth Lakeman is set to embark on his largest UK tour to date this Autumn.
One lucky person has the chance to win 2 tickets to the final date of Seth's tour - at London Shepherds Bush Empire on Thursday 18 October!
To coincide with the tour, Seth will also be releasing an EP of new material entitled 'Poor Man's Heaven', giving fans a taster of his forthcoming album (due for release on Relentless early 2008),
This will be the follow up to 2006's 'Freedom Fields', which sold an impressive 100,000 copies in the UK alone and saw Seth building on his traditional cult following, finding a whole new audience for his rhythmic, captivating brand of indie-folk song writing.
A summer of playing the festival circuit, including Glastonbury, V Festival, Hyde Park Calling and the forthcoming Connect Festival has also subsequently exposed Seth to a far wider audience.
Earlier this year Lakeman was named Folk Singer of the Year, and 'Freedom Fields' awarded Album Of The Year at the prestigious Radio 2 Folk Awards. Seth's 2005 album, 'Kitty Jay', which was released on his own label before he was signed by Relentless (home of KT Tunstall), was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.
