Tuna crunch salad

Salads are synonymous with a healthy lifestyle – and what better way to keep the pounds off than with a tasty crunch tuna and vegetable salad! Serves 2.

Ingredients

• 1 lettuce
• 1 tin (185g) of tuna chunks
• 1 fresh tomato, sliced
• 1 cucumber, sliced
• 1 red pepper, sliced
• 1⁄2 red onion, sliced
• 2 tbsp low-fat vinaigrette dressing

Method

You can create this super-healthy snack in seconds by adding as much or as little of the vegetables as you like.

Start with a bed of lettuce and add your sliced tomatoes, cucumber, red peppers and onions before adding some juicy chunks of tuna.

Finish by drizzling some low-fat vinaigrette dressing over the top and serve. It's as easy as that!

Twist: transform your salad into a Niçoise salad by simply adding some sliced boiled eggs and a few black olives
