News Knight with Sir Trevor McDonald

News Knight is a brand new satirical comedy series hosted by the legendary news anchor Sir Trevor McDonald from Sunday 24th June.

His 'News Knight team' includes Marcus Brigstocke and two other well known comedians who will change each week.

The show will see Sir Trevor deliver the top news stories of the week in his own inimitable style, inviting his news team to present their own reports on what has got Great Britain talking over the last seven days.

This is not a quiz or a panel show but a comedy series that allows viewers to take a visual and humorous observational look at the week's headlines.

Top stand-up comedian Marcus Brigstocke is more than qualified for the challenge of working closely with Sir Trevor on News Knight; he currently hosts the popular 'Late Edition' show on BBC4 and can be heard regularly on BBC Radio 4.

Sir Trevor says: "I'm looking forward to hosting this show as it will give me the chance to approach the news headlines from another perspective.

"I've been a part of the news at ITV for over 30 years now and this new show will let me show viewers another side to my personality.

"I have a great team on board and I'm particularly excited about working with Marcus Brigstocke."

News Knight begins on Sunday 24th June at 10pm.
