Friday 5 October 2007 8:30pm - 9:00pm on ITV1.

David's (Jack P Shepherd) still sulking about being segregated from the family and is intrigued when he sees Audrey (Sue Nicholls) and Bill (Peter Armitage) going into No 8.

He hovers outside the window convinced that they're talking about him, until Gail (Helen Worth) finally invites him in to prove that they're just having a family get together to discuss the wedding.

Sarah's (Tina O'Brien) furious at this interruption and tells her brother that he's not included as he's no longer family to her.

Gail reassures her son that they didn't plan to upset him, but when he asks Jason (Ryan Thomas) about his stag night, Jason makes it clear that he's not invited before Sarah asserts that he's not invited to the wedding either.

David's mood darkens as he digests this news and states that it doesn't matter anyway as there isn't going to be a wedding! Is David plotting to spoil his sister's big day?

It's chaos at the Mortons' as Finlay's (Ramone Quin) pirate themed birthday party gets underway. The kids have been pumped with so much sugar that they're running wild around the house and Jerry (Michael Starke) has told their parents to pick them up whenever they feel like it!

It's been a hectic day for Jodie (Samantha Seager) who's looking forward to her date with Lloyd (Craig Charles). However, Jerry announces he's taking Eileen (Sue Cleaver) for a slap up birthday meal and leaves her with all the kids! Will Jodie make it to her date?

Violet's (Jenny Platt) agreed to swap shifts with Sean (Antony Cotton) in the pub and is unhappy when she's forced to work after he doesn't show up.

However, when she starts to feel ill Jamie (Rupert Hill) doesn't want to take any chances and insists on taking her to the hospital to get checked over. When Sean finally arrives at the Rovers he panics when he's told that Violet's in hospital and rushes straight over.

Will Violet and the baby be okay and wil Sean ever forgive himself if they're not?

Elsewhere, Claire (Julia Haworth) returns from the party with Josh (Benjamin Beresford) to find Ashley (Steven Arnold) asleep on the sofa after bringing Freddie home. He gets up to go but is pleasantly surprised when she tells him he can stay on the sofa. Is Claire going to give him another chance?
