• Security guard Tony has removed 13 over-zealous performers from the audition room over four years of auditions.
• The X Factor's oldest contestant this year was 84 years old.
• The Louis Walsh fan club now boasts 2,492 members up from the original 30 after founder, Vickee Robinson auditioned in 2006.
• The X Factor has travelled over 5,000 miles across Britain scouring the country for the nation's best undiscovered talent.
• The X Factor 3 winner Leona Lewis's debut single, 'A Moment Like This' sold over 50,000 downloads in just three minutes becoming the best-selling download over seven days.
