Nigella prepares delicious, easy recipes which require minimum effort with maximum effect. Every real-life cooking eventuality is covered, from breakfast, lunch and dinner to parties and food on the go.

In today's opener, she recreates a quick and delicious supper for the family – roast poussin with sweet potatoes and sugar snap pea and watercress salad with wasabi dressing.
For a quick after-work supper with a friend, Nigella goes for her ever-ready standby – crispy squid with garlic mayo. When she's home alone there's nothing better than fast-cook mustard pork chops with gnocchi, a sentimental favourite from her first trip away to France without her family.
She also enjoys the ultimate treat of caramel croissant pudding, eaten in bed after a night out at a party.
