Now Cheryl Cole has been named as the new X Factor judge fans of Leona Lewis think she deserves to be a judge too.
Leona has had massive success since winning the top show two years ago.
Although Sharon Osbourne's shoes have been filled for the next series of X Factor it is thought that Leona would be a perfect judge in the future.
The Spirit singer would be able to draw on her own experiences of being on the X Factor stage and pass on her knowledge as she mentors her singers.
The 23-year-old is regarded as one of the nicest singers around and she is proving to be a great role model for young people.
Denise van Outen strongly believes that Britain should celebrate stars like Leona.
She told the Daily Mail: "I couldn't believe it when I opened the paper the other day and saw a massive picture of Amy Winehouse, completely off her face.
"What bothered me was that in the corner was a tiny story congratulating Leona Lewis for storming the US charts.
"If you ask me, we should be bigging her up, not people who are struggling with drugs."
Leona has remained grounded and is well liked by journalists too. She recently impressed a US journalist when she sent him a present after being forced to cancel an interview because she was ill.
columnist James Brady wrote in an article for Parade magazine: "She's a kid with manners as well as talent."
