Controversial 'X Factor' contestants John and Edward

'X Factor' housemates to be evicted?

Wednesday, 28 October 2009

The 'X Factor' house could be shut down by police amid concerns about fans' behaviour.

Officers have been called to the property in north London - the temporary home of the remaining nine acts on the ITV talent show - on several occasions after neighbours complained about the growing crowds outside.

Hundreds of screaming fans have also reportedly scrawled "pornographic" graffiti on the £6million house's security fence and left the street - in an affluent area - a mess.

Locals are also outraged that some young girls have even been flashing their breasts.

Resident Alexander Netsler told The Sun newspaper: "I saw a girl who must have only been about 14 lifting up her top to flash at the twins, Jonathan and Edward. I had to look away.

"With all these young girls about it is attracting dirty old men to come and stare at them."

Residents are furious with the show's production team for not keeping the house's location secret.

They want contestants moved out and have threatened to bring in their own security teams to keep people away.

Police are now holding crisis talks with show bosses as to whether the contestants will have to be moved.

Fans have defended themselves, with one fan, Eva Lipman, 14, saying: "We are just having fun. If I don't get to see the contestants I will come back every day until I do."
