Whitney Houston 'irritated' by Cowell

Whitney Houston was reportedly annoyed Simon Cowell gave an 'X Factor' singer one of her new songs to perform.
The 46-year-old singer was saving power ballad 'I Didn't Know My Own Strength' for her upcoming tour, but Simon got bisexual teacher Danyl Johnson to sing it on Saturday's episode of the TV talent show (17.10.09).
Although Whitney - who made a triumphant return to the UK stage on Sunday's show (18.10.09) - was initially irritated, Simon talked her round with a basket of treats from upmarket perfume and toiletries brand Jo Malone.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "You'd never guess that anyone could leave Simon speechless - he usually has contestants quivering in their boots. But he has got a taste of his own medicine with Whitney.
"They had a lot of playful chemistry and got on like a house on fire."
Simon went to Whitney's dressing room after Sunday's programme to see the superstar.
She stepped out and declared: "You look guilty."
Simon blushed, but Whitney cleared the air by giving him a kiss on the cheek and posing for a picture with him and judges Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole.
Simon said: "Whitney was a total superstar. I loved having her on the show. I hope she comes back every year."
