Simon Cowell's ex-girlfriend has fuelled rumours he will quit 'X Factor'.

Terri Seymour, who split from the music mogul last November after six years, admits Simon is struggling to cope with his increasingly hectic schedule.

The pretty TV presenter has hinted 49-year-old Simon will soon be forced to reduce his workload because of the stress of juggling his appearances on the judging panel of TV talent shows 'X Factor', 'American Idol' and 'Britain's Got Talent'.

Terri told BANG Showbiz: "I had lunch with Simon on Saturday (27.06.09). I still speak to him everyday. I'm not really supposed to talk about this. He is finding it hard - he is not as young as he used to be!

"He has such a gruelling schedule and I think at some point one of the shows will have to give. We will just have to wait and see what happens."

Last week, it was claimed Simon may step down from judging 'X Factor' to concentrate on his new business venture with Topshop tycoon Sir Philip Green.

Although Terri claims Simon is feeling overworked, she did reveal he is thrilled with the new format for 'X Factor' - which involves hopefuls auditioning in front of the judges and a live audience.

She said: "He told me it is going really well. They have already found some exciting new talent. Simon is really happy. They have a whole new set up. He is loving the live audience and he enjoys getting the audience's input."
