Leona Lewis no 'X Factor' judge

Leona Lewis no 'X Factor' judge

Wednesday, 28 October 2009

Leona Lewis thinks she'd be an awful 'X Factor' judge.

The 'Bleeding Love' singer - who won the ITV reality TV contest in 2006 - said although she thinks it would be "fun" to do a stint on the judging panel of the show, she wouldn't be able to turn bad singers away.

When asked if she would judge the show in an online chat with fans, Leona said: "Maybe. It would be fun.

"I don't know if I'd be a good judge because I'd just say yes and let everyone through. I wouldn't be able to turn anyone away."

Leona also said she is looking forward to meeting the show's contestants when she performs new single 'Happy'. She is also rumoured to be mentoring the acts on the same week.

She added: "I can't wait to meet everyone, but I'm mostly looking forward to seeing the girls. They are aspiring toward the same things as me when I was on the show and are going through a similar experience."

Leona has also revealed she turned down the chance to kiss TV heartthrob Chase Crawford when shooting the video for her song 'I Will Be' because she didn't want to make her boyfriend, Lou Al-Chamaa, jealous.

She added: "They wanted me and Chace to kiss in the video. But I said no way. I'd just have been too embarrassed!

"He's so beautiful, I mean, look at him - he could be a girl. He'd be a really pretty girl. But I just don't think of him like that. And it wouldn't be fair to Lou to kiss other guys."

Leona will appear on 'The X Factor' on November 8.
