Holly Willoughby gives birth

Holly Willoughby gives birth

Tuesday, 12 May 2009

Holly Willoughby has become mother.

The 'Dancing On Ice' presenter - who is married to television executive Dan Baldwin - gave birth to her first son, Harry, yesterday (11.05.09) and both mother and baby are happy and healthy.

Her manager John Knight said: "Holly Willoughby and her husband are delighted to announce the birth of their son, Harry James Baldwin. Mother and baby are doing well."

Harry is the first baby for the couple, who married in August 2007.

Holly's pregnancy was announced last November when reality show judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh congratulated her as she hosted 'The Xtra Factor'.

She told viewers: "Yes, I am pregnant - I don't know if people know that yet."

Holly's 'Dancing on Ice' co-presenter Phillip Schofield was the first celebrity to respond to her happy news, writing on his Twitter account: "Congratulations Holly and Dan!"

Holly, 28, recently revealed she will return to work almost immediately to go on tour with 'The Xtra Factor' when it starts filming next month.

She said she will be taking both her baby and her mother with her.
