The Apprentice - Helene Speight

The Apprentice - Sara Dhada thinks Helene Speight should have gone

Thursday, 15 May 2008

Sara Dhada knew the other candidates would turn on her in the boardroom.

Sara could trust no one on her team for the wedding task.

They all wanted to get rid of her.

Sara has spoken about her experience to the official Apprentice website: "I didn't find the experience enjoyable, because I didn't gel well with the other team members.

"I tried hard but some people didn't want me to be there. I was emotionally exhausted."

Sara was nervous in the boardroom: "It was scary. I wasn't scared of Sir Alan himself; I was worried about the other candidates because I knew they wanted me out.

"I didn't defend myself well in the boardroom because I was so stressed. I couldn't think straight."

She thinks Alan Sugar should have fired Helene because she was the project manager: "I felt that Helene should have gone, because the reason we failed the task was product selection.

"The wedding dresses that Helene chose were awful. We did try to tell her to opt for the Ian Stuart dresses, but she wasn't having any of it."

Sara has big plans for the future: "I want open my own business, and I want to hire a fabulous team to work with me.

"I don't want to be in the limelight, I just want to have a quiet life."
