The Apprentice - Alan Sugar saved a man's life
Thursday, 8 May 2008
Alan Sugar helped a man escape a gas explosion yesterday.
The man is a big Apprentice fan and decided to watch the show at his ex-wife's house.
He had just dropped off his sons but he didn't want to miss the show so waited until he saw Jenny Celerier and Jennifer Maguire get fired before returning home.
This meant that he avoided the gas explosion that has already claimed one life and left many more homeless.
Mark Leahy told the Evening Standard: "I guess you could say Alan Sugar saved my life.
"Normally I would be in the house and that would have been it.
"We were very lucky – I'm in disbelief. By the grace of God I'm alive."
