The Apprentice - Simon Smith's David Brent moment

Newly-fired Simon Smith claimed his management strategy in the photography task was "a real David Brent unravelling moment".
Speaking to Digital Spy, the satellite TV engineer said his "fundamental mistake" was making himself both the project manager and the photographer on the task.
"Looking back in retrospect it was daft and people will be shouting at their TVs, but I did it and I blew it. I blew it spectacularly," he admitted.
However, Simon claimed that he enjoyed using the camera during his final task on the programme and plans to purchase an SLR camera of his own - although he has no plans to abandon his old job.
"I'm a good satellite TV engineer and I'm going to go back to being a good satellite TV engineer on Monday ... Sir Alan let me go with a lot of dignity. I was out of my depth and he let me go," he said.
According to his BBC profile, 35-year-old Simon also spent nine years in the Royal Artillery Regiment as an NCO, before qualifying as a surveyor.
He lives with his girlfriend and their new baby and claims to enjoy football, creative writing and singing in his free time.
