Lee McQueen's secret business

Lee McQueen's secret business

Thursday, 19 June 2008

'The Apprentice' winner Lee McQueen has secretly set up his own business.

Despite landing a £100,000-a-year job with Sir Alan Sugar, Lee, 30, has set up LMM consultancy Services in case things don't work out with his new role.

A source said: "Lee is a pretty sharp operator so he set this firm up just in case. He's adamant that the role with Sir Alan will work out, but if he doesn't he plans to offer advice to new businesses.

"His firm doesn't really do anything at the moment, he's just been using it to channel cash he's earned off the back of the show."

Lee set the firm up towards the end of filming the hit reality show last November.

Meanwhile, the show's runner up, Claire Young has taken a swipe at Lee, saying he would do anything to keep Sir Alan happy.

She said: "If Sir Alan said to him, 'Lee, you're going to be a cleaner for the next year', Lee would say, 'Fantastic because I'm doing it for Sir Alan'. If Sir Alan said that to me, I'd tell him to naff off!"

Over 10 million people saw Lee offered the job as Amstrad boss Sir Alan's apprentice last week.
