Alan Sugar's dancing sidekicks
Monday, 16 June 2008
Nick Hewer and Margaret Moutford have been approached to star in the new series of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The advisors - who act as sidekicks for Amstrad boss Sir Alan Sugar on BBC show 'The Apprentice' - are set to display their dancing skills on the sixth series of the show, which will be aired later this year.
Nick, 64, and 56-year-old Margaret will reportedly earn a staggering £25,000 each if they agree to star in the programme.
A source said: "Nick and Margaret are the unacknowledged stars of 'The Apprentice' and more and more people have been watching it because of them.
"They have really interesting, understated personalities and some of their reactions to what the candidates do in Sir Alan's tasks are wickedly funny."
A BBC spokesperson refused to comment on rumours, insisting: "Nothing is confirmed yet."
Nick, a former PR advisor for Sir Alan, is said to be very keen to take part in the 12-week show, and is attempting to convince City lawyer Margaret to join him.
