Alan Sugar's Apprentice Kylie
Tuesday, 24 June 2008
Sir Alan Sugar wants Kylie Minogue to appear on 'Comic Relief Does The Apprentice' next March (2009).
The Amstrad boss is desperate to get as many big names involved with the show as possible, and is determined to see Kylie battle it out with a host of stars including Victoria Beckham.
He is also keen for TV presenter Fiona Bruce and tennis star Tim Henman to sign-up for the spin-off, which sees two teams of celebrities battle to raise the most money for charity.
An insider told Britain's New! magazine: "Sir Alan wants to make this the best year yet, so he has put the feelers out early. So far, only Fiona has agreed to talks, but he also has his heart set on Kylie Minogue."
The fourth series of 'The Apprentice' concluded two weeks ago and enjoyed record viewing figures, with 10 million viewers tuning in to see Lee McQueen land the £100,000 a year job.
Sir Alan's decision to employ former recruitment sales manager Lee was widely criticised after it was revealed Lee lied about his education on his CV.
