Strictly Come Dancing - Millions to tune out after John Sergeant walks
Wednesday, 19 November 2008
Arlene Phillips and the rest of the Strictly Come Dancing judges must be really pleased with themselves this morning.
They have insulted John Sergeant and his fans every day this week in various interviews and now the political journalist has decided that the time has come to walk.

BBC bosses should be worried as millions of Strictly Come Dancing fans are likely to boycott the show in protest.
The bullying behaviour of the judges shouldn't have been allowed to carry on for so long.
John has released a statement but many fans feel that he is being forced to withdraw.
He said: "I am sorry to say I have decided to leave Strictly Come Dancing. It was always my intention to have fun on the show and I was hoping to stay in as long as possible.
"The trouble is that there is now a real danger that I might win the competition. Even for me that would be a joke too far. I would like to thank Kristina and all those viewers who have been rooting for me through the series."
A BBC Controller added: "We would have liked him to stay but we respect his decision to leave. John and Kristina will be performing a farewell dance this Saturday on the show."
