Strictly Come Dancing - Don Warrington has danced before

Rising Damp star Don Warrington is looking forward to putting on his dancing shoes.

Don told MyParkmag: "The last time I danced was a very long time ago. I'm still learning to put one foot in front of the other one!"

Everything you need to know about Don Warrington

Don is best known for his role of Philip Smith in the sitcom Rising Damp, co-starring the late Leonard Rossiter and Kate Beckinsdale's late father, Richard Beckinsale.

He has also appeared in crime drama C.A.T.S. Eyes, New Street Law, Grange Hill, Red Dwarf, Holby City and The Crouches.

Renowned for his deep, theatrical voice, Don has also performed with the National Theatre, the English Shakespeare Company and Bristol Old Vic and regularly provides voice-overs for both BBC TV and radio.

Don was awarded an MBE in the 2008 Queen's Birthday Honours List for his services to drama.

Don will be dancing with Lilia Kopylova

Lilia is gentle and softly spoken but below the surface lies a cheeky Russian minx. Born in Moscow, Lilia moved to Denmark and then settled in London in her teens.

Her speciality is Latin American. Her partner and husband Darren Bennett is also appearing in Strictly Come Dancing.

Lilia and Darren train many of the top Junior, Youth and Amateur couples in the UK, including the British Junior champions and No.1 Youth couple in the UK.

She won the third series of Strictly Come Dancing with Darren Gough and last year partnered Dominic Littlewood.

She says: "I'm really looking forward to this year, I did pretty good in my first three series, last year I was out at week five, but this year I'm ready to go!"
