Strictly bosses fearful Lisa Snowdon could quit

Strictly Come Dancing chiefs are rumoured to be holding crisis talks following a bust-up between celebrity dancer Lisa Snowdon and her professional partner Brendan Cole.

Bosses are understood to be working flat out to stop Snowdon or Cole from walking away from the show following an emotional outburst from the pro dancer.

Brendan saw red after he and model-come-TV presenter Lisa received low marks from the Strictly judges for their dance on Saturday.

He reportedly stormed out of the studio immediately after the show ended, leaving stunned Lisa in tears in tears.

Daily Star report a source as saying: "Brendan went off into one of his moods and Lisa couldn’t understand what she’d done.

"She was devastated, crying and sobbing. It was very harrowing. She was very upset.

"After Brendan stormed off there was a feeling they might not get back together.

"There was a lot of sweet-talking to try to persuade them to kiss and make up."

Concerned fans flooded BBC message boards to find out if the pair had permanently quit the show.

So Lisa was allegedly urged by show bosses to play down the bust-up on Strictly's BBC2 diary show "Strictly Confidential".

On that programme, she told host Claudia Winkleman: “I couldn’t understand what I’d done to upset him. I thought he was angry with me but he wasn’t.

"He did storm off but we have now begun training again and all is OK."

To which Claudia joked: "Brendan’s just a grumpy soul."

It's not the first time Cole has upset a dance partner - he left previous partners Kelly Brook and Natasha Kaplinsky in tears on two separate occasions.
