Jo Wood voted off 'Strictly'
Sunday, 25 October 2009
Jo Wood has become the latest celebrity to be voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing' last night (24.10.09).
The 54-year-old former model - estranged wife of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood - and her professional dance partner Brendan Cole lost out in the dance off with Olympian Jade Johnson and partner Ian White.
Jo and Brendan came bottom of the scoreboard, after receiving just 14 points for their samba, which was described as a "dance disaster" by judge Craig Revel Horwood.
Craig and the other judges - Len Goodman, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli - all voted to save Jade, who had scored an impressive 32 points for her samba.
Jo said after her defeat: "I enjoyed every second."
Former 'Hollyoaks' actress Ali Bastian headed up the leader board after receiving 37 points for their American Smooth, which included a perfect 10 from Bruno.
He told the blonde beauty and her partner Brian Fortuna: "I knew you had it, I've been waiting six weeks, it's magic time!"
Others left in the competition include Natalie Cassidy, Phil Tufnell, Ricky Whittle and Zoe Lucker.
