Jade Johnson's serious jive talking

Jade Johnson's serious jive talking

Wednesday, 4 November 2009

Jade Johnson has fallen out with her 'Strictly Come Dancing' partner over their latest routine.

Olympic long-jumper Jade has been struggling to master the fast-paced jive with partner Ian Waite in time for this week's special show in Blackpool on Saturday (07.11.09), leading to strong words between her and Ian.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Jade is a really strong personality. She's in it to win it and she won't accept second best from herself - or Ian.

"They are getting very frustrated and Jade is used to picking things up much more quickly than this. There have been a lot of a cross words and everything has got a bit emotional."

Jade, 29, and Ian, 38, previously fell out when they struggled with the samba and ended up in the bottom two back in Week Six.

They scored a person best last Saturday (31.10.09) however, when they picked up 35 out of 40 for their foxtrot.

A BBC source revealed: "They are falling out, but they always make up. Everything looks effortless on the dance floor but in reality it's a long and hard slog. Being a contestant on 'Strictly' is not an easy ride whether you're a celebrity or a professional."
