Andrew Castle was voted off TV talent show 'Strictly Come Dancing' last night (02.11.08).
The 'GMTV' presenter was blasted by judges for his "heavy footing" after competing in the dance-off with former M People singer Heather Small.
Following Andrew's performance with dance partner Ola Jordan, judge Bruno Tonioli said: "The samba should have the excitement of the Brazilian Grand Prix and this was a Brazilian grand flop - no bounce, poor hip action, heavy-footed."
After being voted off the show, Andrew said: "Can I just take a second here to thank everybody on 'Strictly Come Dancing' for taking care of us amateur dancers, and for the person who's as beautiful as she is talented and generous too, Ola."
The former tennis player had been battling a knee injury that he incurred during one of the intense rehearsals for the show, and had been worried he would miss this week's performance due to the injury.
A source revealed last week: "Andrew is petrified he might miss the show. He keeps himself in shape but dancing uses different muscles - he never had to do the samba on centre court."
