Rosie Webster's controversial boob job

'Coronation Street's Rosie Webster is set to have a boob job while mum Sally battles breast cancer.

The teen temptress is keen to boost her assets as she thinks it will help her new career as a model and promotions girl, even though she knows her mother is facing a lumpectomy to remove a malignant tumour.

Rosie, played by Helen Flanagan, tries to keep her plans secret from her family but she is rumbled by her younger sister Sophie, who finds a letter from a company called Desire Solutions.

Sophie (Brooke Vincent) suspects Rosie is having Botox treatment or liposuction and when she confronts Rosie, is stunned to discover she is planning a boob job, even though their mum is going through such turmoil.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "The bosses are well aware of the controversy this storyline will cause. But they've researched all the implications and also looked at how it may affect teenage girl viewers and are determined to go ahead and show it - warts and all."
