Piers Morgan's £2m deal

Piers Morgan is to sign a £2 million deal with ITV.

The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge has reportedly been offered a 'golden handcuffs' deal with the broadcasting network, whose bosses were extremely impressed by his performance on the star-search programme.

The deal will reportedly see Piers host his own prime time chat show, amongst other projects.

A source close to the former newspaper editor said: "He's close to signing".

An insider added: "He's doing a lot for ITV and it makes sense to get him on an exclusive deal. We have the biggest names on TV with ITV ? Simon Cowell and Ant and Dec. Now we have Morgan!"

Piers is currently in Las Vegas filming 'America's Got Talent', alongside Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff.
