The Nolan Sisters' surgery show
Monday, 19 May 2008
The Nolan Sisters will have plastic surgery makeover as part of a new reality TV show.
'Pop Goes The Band' will reportedly offer the sisters - a family group which included Maureen, Coleen and Bernie - the chance to look exactly as they did at the height of their fame in the 70s and 80s, by using the skills of cosmetic surgeons, nutritionists, personal trainers and stylists.
The six-part show will also see a host of other bands from the 70s and 80s - said to include Kajagoogoo and Dollar - reunited to receive dramatic transformations.
A show insider said: "It's like 'Celebrity Fit Club', 'Extreme Makeover' and 'Stars in Their Eyes' all rolled into one show. It's must-see TV!"
To help turn back the clock, the singers will be offered a host of cosmetic surgery procedures, including eye lifts and Botox injections.
The Nolans - whose most famous record is 'I'm In The Mood For Dancing' - will also be put through a dieting boot camp to help them lose weight and change their eating habits.
At the end of the hour-long show, the sisters' new looks will be revealed, before they take to the stage to perform one of their greatest hits before family, friends and fans.
