MTV Awards - Nominations announced

'Superbad' and 'Juno' lead the nominations for this year's MTV Movie Awards with five and four respectively.
The films will compete against each other for Best Movie along with 'Transformers', 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End', 'I Am Legend' and 'National Treasure: Book of Secrets'.
'Superbad' star Jonah Hill is up for Best Comedic Performance, while Jonah and his co-stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Michael Cera all feature in the Best Newcomer category.
Cera is also nominated for Best Male Performance for his role in 'Juno'. The movie is also up for Best Kiss for Cera and co-star Ellen Page's smooch, while Page is named among the Best Female Performance nominees.
A new category has been introduced for this year's awards, Best Summer Movie So Far. 'Iron Man' will battle it out with 'Speed Racer', 'Sex and the City: The Movie', 'The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian' and 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'.
The awards, voted for by viewers of the music TV network, will take place in California on June 1 and will be hosted by actor Mike Myers.
