Helen Flanagan admits to being a lightweight.

The 'Coronation Street' actress - who plays vixen Rosie Webster in the ITV soap - says she has to be careful of how much she drinks as it can get her into trouble.

She said: "I was drunk at a house party and threw a drink over a friend. I was mortified afterwards and cried my eyes out. I'm a good girl, but that was nasty.

"I've only once gone to work with a hangover... never again. Luckily I only had one word to say, but I felt so guilty for being unprofessional."

Helen - who has recently moved back home to live with her parents after breaking up with her builder boyfriend Daniel Scott in August - also admitted to cutting back on food before a big night out so she could squeeze into her dress.

She told Fabulous magazine: "Before a night out, I cut back on carbs and stock up on protein so I look better in my outfit - but that can backfire because if I don't eat properly, I'm all over the place after one drink!"
