Jamie Oliver's baby wish
Friday, 1 August 2008
Jamie Oliver "would do anything" for a baby boy, his wife has revealed.
Jools Oliver says she and her TV chef husband want to have another child and are considering fertility treatment in order to achieve their dream of having a brother for their daughters, Poppy Honey, six, and Daisy Boo, five.
She told Red magazine: "I would love more kids but number three is taking much longer than I thought. If I have to go through the fertility drugs again, I will.
"Jamie would do anything to have a boy."
The couple's daughters were conceived through IVF treatment because Jools, 32, suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome.
The condition leaves cysts on the ovaries, drastically reducing a woman's chances of conceiving naturally.
Meanwhile, 31-year-old Jamie has been honoured by the Scout Association for his healthy eating in schools campaign.
The 'Jamie's School Dinners' chef was one of 11 celebrities honoured for the movement's 101st birthday.
He said: "I'm honoured but also pleased thousands of people are learning about food and cooking through the scouts."
Other stars honoured included Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman for navigation, 'Top Gear' mystery star The Stig for instruction, Ray Mears for outdoor adventure and 'Britain's Got Talent' winner George Sampson for entertaining.
