Contestants on ITV reality show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' have reportedly been arguing about the difference in their pay packets.

Former glamour model Nicola McLean - who recently admitted "nobody" would know who she is - is said to have been furious after discovering her £7,500 wage was five times less than model Dani Behr's £40,000 fee.

Carly Zucker, the fiance of soccer star Joe Cole, will receive £10,000 for appearing in the show while former 'Star Trek' actor George Takei is set to be paid £20,000.

Ex-tennis player Martina Navratilova is set to rake in £30,000 following her involvement in the show and TV presenter Esther Rantzen will receive £25,000.

Producers are said to be hoping sportswoman Martina will cause controversy with her views on America's laws on gay marriages.

A show insider said: "Producers are holding out hope that Martina will be one of the most controversial and vocal figures on the show."

Meanwhile, the programme's hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have already revealed they are backing George Takei to win, after meeting him on their US game show 'Wanna Bet?'.

Ant said: "We recommended George after working with him on our show. So if he is brilliant it's all down to us. If he's not, forget we ever mentioned it!"

Other contestants on the show include former Blue singer Simon Webbe, politican Robert Kilroy-Silk, former 'EastEnders' star Joe Swash and gay policeman Brian Paddick.
