Friday, 9 May 2008
Graham Norton continues the Saturday night talent search, as he introduces the seventh live show.
There's a double challenge for Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and the panel this series.
They need to find talent for the roles of Nancy and a total of three youthful protégés to play orphaned urchin Oliver in Cameron Mackintosh's forthcoming revival of the much-loved timeless musical Oliver!.
Six girls are already out of the competition, and now six remain to sing live for the viewers' votes and the chance to play the role of Nancy in London's West End.
The panel – John Barrowman, Denise Van Outen and Barry Humphries – and Andrew Lloyd Webber keep a close eye on proceedings and also select another Oliver to go through to the semi-final.
This episode is on BBC ONE, Saturday 10 May 2008 @ 7.30-8.30pm.
