I'd Do Anything - Jessie Buckley

I'd Do Anything - Jessie Buckley reveals all

Wednesday, 7 May 2008

Jessie Buckley loved the comments she received after Saturday's performance.

Jessie was told by Denise Van Outen that her version of 'The Man That Got Away' was the best of the series.

She revealed how it felt to the official I'd Do Anything website: "To be put on the same pedestal as Judy Garland is anybody's dream come true, it's such a compliment.

"She's beautiful and a bit of a tomboy as well."

Jessie still can't believe that she gets to perform on stage every week. She loves every minute of the I'd Do Anything experience: "I feel like I'm living a dream."

"I always thought this is what I wanted to do but I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd be standing in front of John, Denise, Barry and Andrew and for them to be comparing me to a legend.

"I feel so lucky. I don't feel I deserved them."

Jessie is keeping her feet on the ground. She doesn't want to miss a moment: "It's only onwards and upwards from now on.

"If I get kicked out next week I'm still going to enjoy next Saturday.

"I want this role and I'm going to everything in my willpower to make sure I'm here till the very end. You won't be sending me home that easily!"
