I'd Do Anything - Denise Van Outen to host new reality show

Tuesday, 13 May 2008

Denise Van Outen has decided that she doesn't need Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Denise has impressed Sky bosses with her judging on I'd Do Anything.

They have signed her to host a new musical reality show.

In Hairspray: The School Musical Denise will challenge schools to put on their own version of Hairspray.

Viewers will vote to see the best school win. The winning school will then perform on the West End.

Denise will get her famous friends to give the schools tips.

John Barrowman, Emma Bunton and Lee Mead have already congratulated Denise on her big break.

Sky spokesperson told The Sun: "Over the past few years Hairspray and High School Musical have brought musical theatre to new audiences worldwide.

"We're going to show all the emotions of the theatre — stage fright, crises in confidence, life-changing accomplishments and tears of joy."
