´EastEnder´ Denise Van Outen?

I'd Do Anything - Denise Van Outen joins EastEnders

Tuesday, 13 May 2008

Denise Van Outen is reportedly set to join the cast of BBC's hit soap 'EastEnders'.

The 'I'd Do Anything' judge visited the set of the BBC programme recently where she allegedly met with the show's bosses to discuss a possible reoccurring appearance in Albert Square.

A source told New! Magazine: "Quite a few of the top brass came out to meet her and then she had a quiet meeting with them. It's no secret they see her as ratings gold after her stints on 'Any Dream Will Do' and 'I'd Do Anything'."

Denise is so stranger to appearing on the small screen, having presented 'The Big Breakfast' and having roles on 'Fairy Tales' and 'Where the Heart is'.

She is currently acting as a judge on BBC talent show 'I'd Do Anything' alongside Andrew Lloyd Webber, John Barrowman and Barry Humphries.

Five contestants now remain, battling it out to be cast as Nancy in an upcoming West End production of 'Oliver!'.
