I'd Do Anything - Ashley Russell loves making people laugh
Thursday, 8 May 2008
Ashley Russell thinks she brings something special to the I'd Do Anything stage.
Ashley enjoys making people happy and thinks she really could be Nancy.
She told the official I'd Do Anything website: "The girls call me joker Nancy.
"I'm glad that's finally coming across to the panel."
Ashley thinks humour is important: "It's good because Nancy sings As Long As He Needs Me, but she entertains the boys, she makes them laugh.
"It's just as important as singing from the heart. It's what keeps her and everyone else going."
She is willing to sacrifice everything so she can perform in the West End.
Her desire to play Nancy has grown every week: "I'm putting everything on the line, heart and souls.
"This is what I want and what I want to be. There's nowhere else I'd want to be than be on stage as Nancy."
