Gemma Merna says her 'Hollyoaks' wedding storyline made her wonder how her own nuptials will go.
The blonde beauty - whose character Carmel McQueen is marrying Calvin Valentine this week in the soap - admits the stressful storyline made her think about her own wedding day.

She said: "The storyline made me realise just how stressful getting married can be, so it's put me off a bit. I've never thought about wedding much - even when I was younger. I was much more keen on having a baby.
"My mum thought I was going to be pregnant by 14 - she really did! I used to love dolls. I was the youngest of three. I'd like to have a baby, but not until I'm settled and in my thirties."
Gemma also revealed she is happy with her body, and never finds herself getting insecure surrounded by stunning women on the show.
She added to Britain's OK! magazine: "Everyone worries about their figures, but it's how you feel inside that counts. I don't have to worry too much as I am a gym freak, so I like exercise and eat healthily. But if I ever go get a bit obsessed, I have a word with myself and say, 'Gemma, it's not that important!' "
