Gemma Merna's co-star love
Friday, 15 August 2008
'Hollyoaks' star Gemma Merna says she and on-screen sisters are like siblings in real life too.
The actress - who plays ditzy beauty Carmel McQueen in the soap - says she has a strong connection with the stars who play the rest of the McQueen sisters.
She said: "We are like sisters in real life too. Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes, and I are terrible as we bounce off each other so Leah Hackett, who plays Tina, is the sensible one who calms us down.
"All the 'Hollyoaks' lot are pretty big boozers, so its always brilliant going out on a night out with them! But I'm the lightweight out of the lot of us - two glasses of wine and I'm gone!"
Gemma also revealed her weirdest request from a fan.
She added to Britain's More magazine: "I once had a bloke ask me to take a picture of myself naked on a rocking horse - that was really weird!"
