Ricky Whittle feels "dirty and used" when he takes his clothes off for work.
The 'Hollyoaks' actor - who plays policeman Calvin Valentine in the Channel 4 soap - often appears bare-chested in the programme and recently stripped off for the show's calendar, but admits he doesn't always enjoy his character's exhibitionism.

Ricky said: "I'd love to keep my clothes on at work. I feel so dirty and used that some days I have to go home and scrub myself in the shower. My producer told me that when I learn to act I can keep my clothes on!"
The actor recently revealed his character has a "dark side" which is set to emerge soon.
Calvin is pushed "over the edge" when he sees wife Carmel locking lips with her colleague Mark after he kicks her out of their home following an argument.
Ricky added: "Calvin used to be a nice bloke but since he got muddled up with Warren, there seems to be a dark side to him which is coming to the surface and he can't handle it."
