Frankie Dettori is I'm a Celebrity favourite

Betfred have reacted to the news that Frankie Dettori is being lined up to take part in the next series of I'm A Celebrity, and make him a 7/2 shot to be crowned King of the Jungle.

The 37-year-old has reportedly been in talks with TV bosses to take part in the hot show which is due back on our screens in November.

Athlete Dwain Chambers and former That's Life presenter Esther Rantzen have already been signed up to take part, but Betfred believe Frankie will go off a well-backed favourite if his participation is confirmed.

A Betfred spokesperson admits: "He is sure to give Dwain Chambers a real run for his money, and having already reportedly eaten such things as camel and fox the bushtucker trials would surely hold no fears for Frankie."
