Natasha Kaplinsky is "absolutely thrilled" after giving birth to a baby boy yesterday (25.09.08).
The 36-year-old newsreader, and former 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant, welcomed her first child with husband Justin Bower into the world in a London hospital at 8.30am.
A spokesperson for the brunette beauty said: "They are both thrilled. Mother and baby are doing fine."
A representative for Five, the channel on which Natasha presents the news, added: "Her colleagues here at Five News are delighted too - and we've sent our best wishes."
The birth was announced on the Five News bulletin last night, but the weight and name of the tot are as yet unknown.
Justin, who married Natasha in 2005, said: "We're absolutely thrilled!"
Natasha started as the face of Five's news coverage in February, after agreeing to a reputed £1 million deal.
The move came after she presented bulletins on for ITV London, Sky News and BBC Breakfast.
